Includes any sports equipment or items:
- ski and winter outfit
- golf outfit
- bicycles
- fishing-tackle
- sports arms.
Sports equipment shall be accepted for carriage upon preliminary agreement with the carrier. A passenger wishing to carry sports equipment shall inform the carrier thereof when reserving the seat or buying the ticket.
Casings with straps and pockets, in which skis and other sports equipment are carried, shall be transported in plastic packaging.
A single-seat tourist bicycle or a racing bicycle (other than a motor bicycle) shall be accepted for carriage as checked-in baggage upon preliminary agreement with the carrier. When bicycles are carried, it is recommended that, prior to packaging them, the treadles be removed and the handle-bar fastened. A passenger wishing to carry a bicycle shall inform the carrier thereof when reserving the seat or obtaining the ticket.
Sports equipment shall be carried free of charge, if it does not exceed the free baggage allowance and shall be paid for as overweight baggage, if it exceeds such allowance (reference to Your baggageoverweight baggage).
In Winter 2010/2011 on all directions, in addition to free baggage allowance, is authorized free transportation of mountain-skiing equipment (ski without buuts + sticks or snowboard) under one complete set on one passenger only on own flights of "Rossiya airlines" OJSC, on code-share flights according to party-operator rules.
